The final 2009 race weekend at Richmond International Raceway gets off to an action-packed start with a full day of on-track activity Friday, September 11.
Friday’s events include practice and pole qualifying for the NASCAR Nationwide Series, as well as practice and pole qualifying for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
The night concludes with the Virginia 529 College Savings 250 “under the lights.” This race always features hardcore beating and banging around Richmond’s ¾-mile track. Many of the Sprint Cup Series drivers will mix it up with all of the up and comers in the Virginia 529 College Savings 250 laps of intensity.
Tickets are $45 (reserved) and $35 (general admission) in advance. Children 12 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult in general admission sections.
