Come see legendary cars and drivers from several racing series, including NASCAR and Indy Car, from the 1950's through the 1970's. Participating racing personalities include Junior Johnson, Buddy Baker, Darrell Waltrip, and ten-time Darlington Raceway winner David Pearson, as well as championship car owner Bud Moore and former driver Cotton Owens.
The Darlington Historic Racing Festival offers fans two days of excitement, August 30 and 31, 2008, featuring question and answer sessions with the legends, exhibition laps by the historic race cars, autograph sessions, a large display and vendor area, car carousels and a variety of other activities for racing fans of all ages.
Tickets for the event will be $15.00 per day or $25.00 for the entire weekend. Children 12 and under are free.
